Sunday Service: COVID-19
What to Expect:
We seek to provide a safe experience for everyone. Watch this video to know what to expect as you join us for service.
Q: Am I required to wear a mask to the on-site service?
A. In keeping with provincial guidelines, masks are mandatory except for medical reasons.
Q: Will coffee, tea or snacks be available?
A: No, but you can bring your own beverage in a travel mug.
Q: Will there be any programming provided for my children?
A: No, but we are working towards providing safe options for Hillside Kids down the road. In the meantime, you can bring a quiet activity for your children to do during the service.
Q: Can I bring snacks for my children?
A: Absolutely! Please make sure snacks are prepackaged or in a disposable bag (and won’t make a lot of noise).
Q: Can I talk with others who are attending before or after the on-site service?
A: Yes! Please maintain social distancing as recommended by the provincial government (2metres; 6 feet apart) and make sure that others are comfortable chatting with you (we areall at different stages of comfort during COVID-19). The Celebration Centre will be openafter the on-site service for these socially distanced conversations and you are also welcomed to chat in the parking lot.
Q: When should I arrive to the on-site service?
A: We encourage you to arrive 10 minutes early (9:50am) to hear any updates and be ready for the service which begins right at 10am.
Q: What is Hillside doing to keep people safe?
A: Your safety is important to us! Our building is set up to accommodate and encourage social distancing. Hand sanitizer is placed throughout the building, masks are available, and we are making everything as touchless as possible.
